Is there a download folder for the linux testing and nightly versions?
Each linux distribution has its own way to install packages and may have their own packages and repositories. There’s no just “linux”.
Okay, so more specific. Are there any packaged versions of the testing branches for ubuntu, debian or mint?
I’ve built it on my own for now, but that is not a thing for everyone. The 5.1.5 release is in my opinion not usable for routing because of https://gitlab.com/kicad/code/kicad/-/issues/1827. But as i have read the release of 5.1.6 is only a week away so that should not be a problem any more.
ppa for .deb packages
But those are only the release versions, i was looking for testing versions, like release candidates.
Now it is the 5.1.6 link and below is the nightly-dev 5.99 (future v6) link.
As v5.1.6 has been just released no need of v5 nightly by now.
Edit: ok I see from another thread you are on 5.1.6
There are now further commits beyond the 5.1.6 release, so Testing is now a slow path to what will probably be a 5.1.7
I don’t see us being even close to V6 feature freeze yet
