The bulb created on wires accidentally

the bulb created on wires accidentally, while i make the connections on eeschema.

i had used Kicad before, and created PCB already, but this artefact don’t saw yet.

Summary

This text will be hidden

to improve it, i didn’t find this bug description,

so I had changed to the newest version 515-3, and had full restarted windows10 from scratch.

the units are inch, and grid 0.001

And the problem is persist. As i hadn’t see similar topic, may be this case of unproperly settings?
just i don’t find, how to attach the project , but i’ll attach it soon.!

The root cause of your problems. There is no reason on schematic to change from the default 50 mils
Your symbol is a mil or two off so all the wires on the right fail to connect

thanx for advice, but it don’t improved.
here i had changed grid to 50mils and the same bulbs.
but if resolution has increased, i can’t to connect the wires visually.

they are always near the target pin, and never collinear.

may be some settings i still had missed?

You need to ensure your symbol is placed on the 50 mil grid. Move it around while you have set the grid to 50 mil and it should be placed back onto that grid.

Delete the component and place it again. If you placed it when the grid was .001”, then it’s off grid.

You can also check the properties and make sure the position values end in 00 or 50. For example, it should be 1.050”, not 1.043”. You can edit the position, but it’s easier to just delete and place the component again.

thanx, i just had remove the old symbol, which was placed while grid was 1 mil, and place the new one, after mil was changed to 50mils, and it still works, wires became drop to target. I spend few days before, cannot find this info.

but can u explain me some more thing, why when i trying to drag wires, some wires moving the symbols together? (symbol D was attracted to symbol B, while i drag the wire from pin 11)

Did i need to ground the symbols before dragging or fix them?

That’s how dragging works in eeschema, and it’s far from perfect. Use M to move each item independently. Dragging works only in some situations. Very often you have to delete and recreate wires.

The way the symbols behave during dragging depend on your selection. You can select symbol only, you can select symbol+wires.
Designators are set relative to symbol, just text items. You can move them around independent on the symbol itself.
Keep in mind that if you use Drag (G) instead of Move (M), you’ll not bring your symbols back on more coarse grid. In this case, use Move command and rewire the affected part of schematic.

Thanx , it’s clear for me now.

(Because i had spend much time, trying to find in settings, how to fix the symbols on the sheet from moving together with wires. In altium they are stay home.)

There is no Settings problem. You need to very carefully look at what is SELECTED with the cursor when you Select using a Box. The Selected items may change color slightly. Everything that is Selected will Drag. If only 1 end of a wire is inside of the Selection Box, then only that end of the wire will drag. The other end was not selected so it did NOT drag. This is how you got wires at crazy angles.

Just place a few symbols and do some wiring, then try Selecting both the symbol and the wires and try Dragging. You will quickly learn to be more careful when Selecting multiple items.
