Text centering setting?

Apologies for asking something that may have been answered multiple times (although I didn’t find anything in a search)…

but where are the text centering settings?

In 7.x and earlier, the default alignment for text was left / bottom justified, but now 8.x (macOS version) is set so it always reverts to horizontal / vertical centering by default. Is this now hard-coded into KiCAD?

Not sure about Mac, I’m guessing it’s the same, but on Linux you edit the text properties and can select centering.

Yes, I have to set the justify settings each time in 8.x, whereas in 7.x and earlier, the default was left / bottom.
