Templates problem

I just installed KiCad, new Windows 10 PC. However, when I select Templates and try to work with one, only the three directories under the specific Template show - none of the files, including the .pro file, etc.

However, when I search using Windows Explorer, under Templates, all of the files show.

The pat is correct - but, I am unable to see specific files. Same is true for Component Libraries - only see the .lib files, not the .dcm files.

Any help?

When adding a library to kicad you will always only see lib files as the dcm files are part of the same library.

After selecting a template you will be asked where to put your new project. Kicad does not again ask if what template to use.
