I’d like to be able to link a symbol and a label so that I can select the SYmbol in the normal way and for it to also act as a label. The various power symbols already do this, I could repurpose one of those but I do not want the label to be global.
One way the user interface could work is by using the footprint field to set the label.
Rather than having the footprint “Valve:Valve_Octal” it would be “Label:Foo” or “GLabel:Baa” the Label & GLabel being pseudo Libraries containing all the defined labels.
