Is there a way to edit a symbol while remaining in the schematic window? I’m spending a good amount of time switching back and forth
May I ask why? Usually symbols are pretty stable once made.
But no, symbol graphics can’t be edited directly in the schematic view.
I’m using the schematic tool for high level wiring. I’m putting connector symbols inside of part number symbols and I change the size of the part symbol often
I think you need to explain your use case more. Perhaps wire net labels would be useful? The connector can be changed but the wire labels can stay.
editing the symbol of schematic is quit difficult, it was done in backend programming , you can label the context of symbol.
