I could not find a feature like this in the doc so I suspect it does not exist. What I am looking for is the following–
I usually design my PCB boards with succinct groupings of pre-arranged components–a power section—a multiple of UART sections etc. With the other electronics software I use they never had a way of grouping these footprints so that they move as a complete assembly. (Making them into a footprint does not apply here as they are wired and have other features).
What would be really useful is a way to select a group of items and “glue” them together as a unit on PCBnew.
I do not think this feature exists but thought I would check as some features are missing from the documentation-
cheers
Fritz
This feature does not yet exist in KiCad. I think it has already been requested so add your voice over at gitlab.
OK and thanks for the reply

If you find it or create a report, please give a link here (also in general, if anyone asks about some bug/wish here and it’s in the issue database).
I think these are the relevant gitlab reports. Feel free to upvote
