I’m working on a simple design, and have come across an odd graphic artifact in PCBnew. The circles/ovals seen in the screen capture appeared suddenly, and I have been unsuccessful at removing them. They will move with the footprint they encircle, but there seems to be no apparent way to delete them.
Any ideas?
That is KiCAD’s way of showing you the required clearance zones around the copper features associated with your nets. In your example, it looks like the clearances for the power and ground net are unusually large. (Perhaps somebody misplaced a decimal point when they defined the clearances, or perhaps somebody was thinking in mils but entered mm, etc.)
Go back to the definitions for minimum widths and spacings, and see if something needs to be corrected.

Hello, and thanks for your reply. That was indeed the problem… I had added a power net type of 3 mm instead of 0.3 mm!
