[Solved] Why component's name positioning is not respected when imported into Schematic?

I have not clue if this is a never-fixed Bug or I miss something

However everytime I draw a component and I want that its name is positioned somewhere into Symbol editor, once that component is imported into Schematics, kiCAD positions it where it wants, not where I want it must be

here below … on the left: the component imported into Schematics, on the right: the component I drew on Symbol Editor.

I want FC located ABOVE the component. Schematics put it on the right side …

It’s the same foor any component I draw.

Because you have “Allow Automatic Placement” ticked.

You need to turn this feature off in the “Text Properties” of the Symbol Field Editor.

The only catch is, once you have done this and placed a symbol on the Schematic, use the R, X & Y hotkeys and observe what happens.

In my opinion when you place symbol for the first time “Automatic Placement” should be switched off but it should be switched on when you first time press R, X or Y.
