Hi everyone.
I’m a new guy using Kicad 7.0. I encountered a problem when I was drawing metal lines.
when I drew a top metal layer’s line, I press “V” in keyboard, there is no via appeared. Only changed to the bottom line (using two-layer board). I’ve checked and tried lots of ways and I can not solve this problem.
Is there anyone who encountered this problem? Please help.

Are you routing traces, or just drawing lines?
I suspect it only works if you are using the trace tool.

Yes I think the key is that KiCad calls them “tracks”. If you are drawing “lines” you are probably getting graphic lines that are not intended for electrical connectivity.
