[Solved] FMC ASP-134486-01 remains unconnected while importing schematic netlist to PCB

Hi community,

I am using a FMC Samtec_ASP-134486-01 connector for GPIO connections.
While importing the netlist all the other components are connected to correct nets but the FMC connector remains unconnected to any net.
There is no connection to FMC.

Can anyone please guide me resolving this issue?

Hello and welcome @Rohan_choudhary

What Kicad version?

Did you import the connector and place it in a personal library?

Hi Janek,
Thank you for the response.
I am using Kicad version 6.0.9.

I am using the symbol and footprint from the default connector library.
I didn’t import it into personal library.

What is the connector name in which default library?

The connector name is “Samtec_ASP-134486-01” and it is in “Connector” library.

Sorry, found it now, just looking at it.

The wires on the pins in the schematic connected correctly?

Thank you for pointing out I just connected nets wrongly on the ASP.

All is well now, I hope?

Yes.
Thank you so much.

Just saw a red flag:

Creating and importing netlists has been deprecated for4 or more years now. The recommended method now is Schematic Editor / Tools / Update PCB from Schematic [F8].

Also:
V6.0.9 is getting a bit old, and several bugs have been fixed (I believe V6.0.9 has a nasty one with net labels in buses). The current is V6.0.11. The 3rd number increments are for bug fixes and updating is always recommended.
