Select Grid
Click on any grid
Select Symbol editor or Browse symbol Libraries.
Symbol Editor or Browse Libraries opens behind Schematic Editor plus list of grids returns and persists on screen over any program.

Similar thing happens with Custom Rules code completion.
I suppose the underlying problem is the same, how some wxWidgets widget is used. This may also be platform dependent (I, too, am using linux ATM).

…but I can’t replicate your situation!
Yet another place where code completion creates a permanent dropdown list is the python console.

I don’t think downgrading from 7.99 to 7.0.7 really means the problem is solved… Or do you mean it verificates the problem in 7.99?
