Is there a way to get the ruler to snap to the center of a through-hole pad when measuring?
Basically, I want it to snap to the center of the hole.
This works in the footprint editor, but not in pcbnew.
The same for gerber viewer would be super nice.
works for me. The measure tool snaps to to all THT holes, and on every hole there are 5 snap-points: centre point and every 90°-corner (east, south, west,north) of the circle.
tested with v8+v9.
maybe relevant: snap settings in Preferences–>pcb editor–>Editing options–>magnetic points

Not just relevant. That was the solution.
Note that AFAIK, this does not appear in the documentation anywhere.
