Snapping to center of circle from imported DXF not working

I’ve imported a DXF from my CAD program to assist in aligning components. I last did this in V5. I’ve now upgraded to V6 (6.0.4). When I select a circle that I want to capture the center of to move the component to, the center of the circle doesn’t appear as a spot that I can snap to. A center point never appears for me. The only way I can align to the center of the circle is to double click on the circle and make note of the center coordinates and then enter them into the footprint I’m trying to position. This is much slower than moving with the “position relative” tool.

Did something change in V6 that doesn’t allow for this? Thanks in advance.

It looks like I just solved my own problem. I had locked the imported graphics. I first ungrouped the features and then unlocked them. I’m not sure which did the trick, but it was one of them. Now I can snap to the centers of circles.
