With kicad 9.0.1 on PCB editor:
./ If I move a component with the mouse it doesn’t snap to the grid. (is like pressing crtl overriding the grid on kicad 8)
./ It does work well with the keyboard.
Same settings on kicad 8.0.9 and no problems, both snap to the grid.
Is this a new a new feature or I missing something?
It is working (using default settings) and pressing ctrl overrides the grid snap, so I guess it must be a setting somewhere, but I could not find it.
Here you can find more information about grid and snapping:
PCB Editor | 9.0 | English | Documentation | KiCad
Same settings on 8.0.9… May be a setting or two was changed between versions or not migrated very nice.
To be sure you could try with new settings by deleting your configuration files. You can clean you configuration files by deleting the config files in the folder: %APPDATA%\kicad\9.0
Be sure to make a copy of the settings before trying…

That did the trick, I will have to restore my libraries and else, but no big deal.
Thank you!
