Size of A3 drawing sheet not right

typical A3 size is 297mm x 420mm
but the page size is “Page width:419.9890mm Page height:297.0020mm”
that’s pretty annoying when I was trying to design my own drawing sheet.
any suggestion?

Change to portrait orientation?

Not working, still in decimal…
:frowning:

Would you really be affected by a fraction of a mm? In principle KiCad is more accurate since the sizes are derived from successive division of A0 (1 m^2) so the numbers you quote for A3 are actually rounded off. And anyway real paper is allowed to deviate a little from the precise number. https://www.papersizes.org/a-paper-sizes.htm

thx a lot for your explanation.
I draw lines or rectangle base on coordinate.
I never see something like this on other CADs, I got confused.

Maybe KiCad shouldn’t be that “honest” and show numbers in nm resolution, not rounded, everywhere.
