Is their a way to test circuits with a simulated multimeter similar to Multisim software? I’m trying to get my school to switch over to KiCad and this seems to be a sticking point.
I think, first of all you will need interactive simulation (example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_h_BPhGTjs) that is not implanted on KiCad yet (whishlist https://bugs.launchpad.net/kicad/+bug/1758234).
Just after this will be possible create this kind of instrumentation on simulation.
It’s certainly not Ideal but a free sollution is to use circuitsjs by falstad. A word of warning though - sometimes results don’t match reality.
