Silkscreen covering copper pads

Hello,

I am using Kicad 6 with an SMA connector native to the application. I am having a lot of errors because of some clipping silkscreen, and also some net errors !
They are warnings, not errors, but still I would like

to correct them

The footprint has an error placing the silkscreen over the pads.
You an raise this as an issue against the footprint library, but meanwhile make a local copy and modify the silkscreen so that it is not on top of the pads. Simple vertical and horizontal lines are good enough

I would also edit the footprint, but you can get rid of the warnings in Board Setup → Design Rules → Violation Severity. It’s really “Silkscreen clipped by solder mask” because the mask graphics always cover exposed pad copper. But you can also simply cut off the silk graphics from gerbers from the areas exposed by mask holes in the gerber export dialog, and should do this if you leave the silk on pads in the pcb editor.
