Side Toolbars not fully not visible on lower resolutions PCs

Hi All

version 7.0.8 (below the info data required)

A friend of mine, installed it on a old computer (2016) which is 1366x768

In PCB he can’t see the full right side toolbar. So, he can’t see the following icons:

  • Show vias in outline mode
  • Show tracks in outline mode
  • Show hide the appearance manager
  • Show hide the properties manager

and on the right side bar, he is missing 5 icons:

  • Add a wrapped text item
  • Add an aligned linear dimension
  • Delete clicked items
  • Place origin point for the drill file and components …
  • Interactively measure distance between points

is there anything doable here?

The official system requirement states: “Screen resolution of 1280x1024 works but 1920x1080 or higher is recommended”.
He could play with global Preferences–>common–>User interface–>icon scale.
And he should make sure that the windows desktop scale is set to 100% (otherwise he will lose even more screen area).
