Show Value of Test Point on PCB

Hi All,
I have some test-point in my design.
When I placed them in the circuit they were annotated TP1–TP8.
But I wanted to show them as values, like +20V…+5V, and so on.
So, on the circuit diagram, I displayed only the values as above.

However the PCB design still displays them with they Ref.
How can I show their values only?

In PCB design, when I check the properties, I cannot see a way to do this.

Thanks
Francesco C

Edit the properties of the Testpoint (move the mouse over it and press ‘E’). There you can add a new text field. Set the text to ‘%V’, select the right layer and finally remove the “show” from the reference field.

Hi Robert,
thank you very much.
I did not consider adding a new field>

There is no need to make a new field.
You can just set the “Value” field to “Visible” and put it on F.Silk.
The screenshot below is from a resistor, which by default has it’s value in F.Fab.

Hi Paulvdh,
yes that is OK. But you also have to change layer to Silk.
Thanks.
