Shift click to unselect not working?

In PCB Editor, parts can be selected by clicking them. Then a shift click can be used to select additional parts. In previous versions a second shift click on a selected part will clear the selection for that part leaving all the other selected parts still selected.

This is not working in 6.0.2 or 6.0.4. All the parts stay selected. Is there a way to unselect a part from a group of parts that are selected? Is it a configuration I am missing?

Ctrl+Shift+Click will remove the part from the selection
