SFP and Cage footprint?

Hi all, I am wondering:

  1. if there is an SFP (small form-factor pluggable optical trasciever, for telecom) footprint (and cage) in the standard libraries - or if someone is working on it?
  2. In my designs I’ve always used the 20-pin SMD connector togeter with the THT metal cage (that guides the pluggable SFP). Would this kind of hybrid footprint consisting of an SMD connector + THT cage be accepted into the libraries?
  3. if they need to be separate components, what mechanisms exist for ensuring correct positioning/alignment between the two connectors?
  4. Does anyone know if there are mechanical differences between SFP (1Gbit) and SFP+ (10Gbit) standards, or would the same footprint work for both?

I have been using this footprint:

Cage: https://cdn.amphenol-icc.com/media/wysiwyg/files/drawing/u77a1118xx0x.pdf

Thanks!
