What is the size I am supposed to enter here?
I wanted to change vias with outer diamter of 0,4mm and entered this value, which worked. But I’m missing a suggestion what to enter here (hole size, outer diameter or both?).

If you look at: PCB Editor / File / Board Setup / Design Rules / Net Classes, then via’s have two properties: Via Size and Via Hole.
So you did it, it worked, and you’re still confused?
Are you aware of net classes and how they work? I see you’re on this forum for 3/4 of a year and created 19 topics. That implies some KiCad experience, but does not mean much by itself.
Yes, I’m aware of netclasses, but a user using the properties tool doesn’t want to look anywhere in the program to clarify the nomenclature.
Then under “Pre-defined sizes” the naming scheme differs for the same value.
The problem is in general for all users, assuming you might have several vias with the same diameter but different hole sizes. How do you then filter the specific type which you want to modify?
