Selecting a track segment (point to point) in a NET

It’s been a while since I had to do a layout (since 5.x) and I’ve been enjoying some of the improvements in the new release(s) of KiCad, however I’ve come across something for the life of me I cannot remember how to do. It is quite possible things have changed in the last 2 major releases so I figured (after doing a little searching in the forum - was unable to find what I was looking for) I would pose the question here.

I remember I used to (via hotkey) select a segment of a net with one key… from memory (I’m old so it’s horrible) ‘L’ or ‘I’. I have located the ‘`’ hotkey which highlights/selects the entire NET. Does anyone know the key or option (or if it was removed)?

So if I had 3 pads Net_D0, the hot key that would select/highlight Pad0<------>Pad1 (assuming I’m hovering over/selecting that track)? I mean all three segments if there are two 45’s in the mix.

I’m hoping my description explains what I’m looking for. Thanks to anyone who lends a hand.

maybe “expand connection”?
(look into Preferences–>Hotkeys–>pcb-editor–>“select/expand connection” for your actually assigned key)

The command works also with right-click–>context-menu–>Select–>select connection.

Wow thank you, that in fact was the answer I was looking for. ‘U’ was the key that’s assigned.

I hope you have a wonderful day, cause you made mine a little nicer.
