Is it possible to select a whole track, meaning all the segments, in a single click? Similar to what “shift + supr” does deleting the track, but for selecting.
Single click, then press “U” on your keyboard a few times.

U a few times is multiple clicks. 
[Shift + Del] gets close. I also had to look that up in PCB Editor / Preferences / Preferences / Hotkeys. Then I typed “track” in the search box, and that gives an overview of lots of tracks related hotkey options.
Quite a lot are empty and do not have a default hotkey, so you have to assign one yourself before you can use it.
