Select component window empty

Hi all

just make a fresh install of kicad 5 on OS 10.15 and on the component selection window, no component appear, no component suggestion like if no one’s there… if I write R, or anything no component list comes up ! I mean the ‘default’ one’s.
The ‘library’ folder is well on /library/application support. so I’m confused…
Any help welcome
