Seeed as a manufacturing/sales outlet

I got an email announcement from Seeed about their Co-Create program. Basically, you provide Gerber design files, a BOM, and a test plan and Seeed will manufacture it and act as an exclusive sales outlet. As per the contract, retail price and the % that is returned to you are negotiable. You’re also on the hook for any unsold inventory so watch out if you decide to build a thousand and only sell one!

This looks like a low-effort way to manf/sell a KiCad design since they handle all the dirty work. Has anyone here pursued this?

Certainly this is interesting and I too would love to hear about actual experiences people have had.
It sounds a bit too easy but thanks for the heads-up as I shall keep an eye out for this one…cheers.
