I was wondering if there was a way of using Search and replace but keeping the scope down to just selected items. If there isn’t is it worth a feature request?
This is currently not implemented (and won’t get implemented for v7 as there was already a feature-freeze).
I personally think this would be very useful and so I wrote a feature request a long time ago. But the issue got only one thumbs-up (since 1 1/2 years) until now, so apparently there is not so much demand than I thought.
