Schematic Symbol Library Panel

Hi All,

Is there a way to have the Symbol Library Browser as a panel in the schematic editor like in the symbol editor.

View > Symbol Library Browser
Then use your mouse to extend the bottom of the browser window, and/or Right hand side.

Currently the symbol browser is in a new window which meaning i need to either have it on a different window or keep bringing it up when I’m editing a schematic

What I’m after is how its like in the symbol editor which is like this

Sorry, I misunderstood your question.

What you want is an ability to replace, or place alongside, the Property Manager, with the Symbol Library Browser.

Unfortunately this function does not exist.
You may place a feature request for this ability by going to Help > Report Bug and requesting.

For now, your best option is to create a hotkey (preferences > hotkeys > common) for the Symbol Library Manager, to save on your mouse movement.
