What do you mean with “allocated”?
The default behavior is that if you have a project open with both Eeschema and Pcbnew (great on multi-monitor setup) then if you select a schematic symbol on the schematic, or a footprint in the PCB, then the other program pans to the corresponding symbol and highlights it too.
