Schematic is already open - Git related kind of discussion

Since I did put everything under GIT ( maybe related or not ) I get this Dialog.

I did read about the lck file and did remove it now for a few times and that file is not added to the git repo. But after a few day’s it popup’s again.

Could this be related? Should I add it, the lck file, to the repo?
Should KiCad not check for this file during startup and unlock it? What is the rationale to have it locked after a restart?

If I want to have it locked then the title is wrong, its not open but just locked.

Sorry I have no experience of this problem but this is just to explain file locking. You should read lock as “locking out more than one accessor”, not “locking the file from further access”.

Also are you up to date with the latest version (7.0.9 at the moment)? I seem to recall there were recent improvements in this area.

I did use 7.0.8, just upgraded to 7.0.9.

I will see how its work out.
