Schematic highlight net

I have just been using the highlight net function in the schematic editor and it works well in conjunction with the pcb editor. All good.

How do you cancel the net highlighting function? I have tried pressing the esc key multiple times, clicking in empty space, but cannot get the net to un-highlight. Is this me or a bug?

Hello Steve,

I click in empty space to un-highlight then Esc. to close function.
But Linux not Windows with 6.0.0

Just tried this and this works. It would seem if you press escape before clicking in empty space the tool cancels but not the highlight.
I would have thought the highlight should cancel when the highlight tool becomes un-selected.

It does not, so that you can keep a net highlighted while you also work with other tools.

Been there, done that. :slightly_smiling_face:

I thought the same, but I didn’t write the function.
Maybe someone in the know will comment.

EDIT:
I see someone in the know is very quick off the mark :grinning: :grinning: :grinning:

Makes sense, just wasn’t obvious (to me anyway).
