When right tool bar icon size set normal or large, then place bitmap image icon is missing. My window size is 1920x1080. Anyone face same problem ? I use KiCAD 8.0.4.
When I push a KiCad window into a corner of my screen it occupies a 1/4 of my monitor (minus some area for permanent menu’s) and the window is also 1080 pixels high (See below with a pixel screen ruler)
Icon scaling is set to normal, and I still have plenty of room left. I guess that your OS is also doing some sort of icon scaling too.
With “large” size icons, every tool is not guaranteed to fit. However with “normal” size it should work on 1920x1080 if I remember. I don’t have a Windows system to check right now.
