Schematic editor - save project

Hello,

I wanted to ask if there is a function save project as … or something similar in Kicad.

I wanted to re-save my project in the schematic editor, however now when I open this, the old one is also included. I would like to have it completely separated from the old one. Is there a possibility?

I’m not 100% sure on this but it may just open everything in that folder. You might try it specifying a new folder.

IIRC, use “Save current sheet as…” and specify a different directory. When you open the new schematic, a new project file will be generated.
