Good morning,
I’ve downloaded 9.99.0-538-g413d6747c5 build. However, this one l feels slower response when I drag symbol or drawing wire. What happens? I just think the additional feature won’t affect response like routing on PCB editor.
ERC is done when we “run” ERC specifically, not live right?
Note, I compare this nightly with version 9 release version.
This is a test Nightly build and in no way a released version, you should expect bugs, and also be aware that projects saved in this version probably will not open in V9.x.y
If you are doing some testing and just giving feedback then great . . .
I’m giving feedback. I’m not sure if this a bug or not, so i’m not reporting this as a bug.
So here is the report: Slowness: 0 means normal, 1=feel slower, 2: noticeable, etc
Using: 9.99.0-403-g85e6978aa2.
- Place symbol: 0
- Move or drag newly added : 2
- Move already connected symbol : 3
- Drag already connected symbol: 4. I think this is because the algorithm for repositioning the connected wires cause this.
Now using 9.99.0-538-g413d6747c5
- Place symbol: 0
- Move or drag newly added : 4
- Move already connected symbol : 5
- Drag already connected symbol: 6
- Adding wire: 6
So adding wire is a problem now because slowness. I hope I can turn off some features if possible.
If you ask how old my computer : probably about 10 years ago, using i5 core (2 core) with 12GB ram.
