Is there any way to save the symbol fields table presets (and format presets) globally and not only in the project file? I have no idea why this option would be different for each project and why I have to manually add my presets to every project.
Have you ever worked with project templates in KiCad? Any project can be saved as a template, and then used to create new projects.
An improvement here would be if there was a setting for a project that is used as a default. (I.e. Project Manager / File / New Project
Yes I know, but I still have to change the presets in every project if for whatever reason the presets change or older projects which are not created from a template.
