Same settings, different footprints

Hello!
I have a problem with resistors. Here is how they are displayed:
Resistors
As they are obviously different, I have checked (from the schematic) what footprint has been set.
They look similar except the ID and the reference number.

Does anyone have an explanation? Just in case: I have re exported the schematic and reimported
into the PCB software, so it’s not a component version problem.

Any hint will be welcome.

R4 looks like it is from the version 4 lib. R5 looks to be from version 5

You mention the netlist. I have you know that this is no longer the suggested way to update your pcb from the schemaic. Use the update pcb from schematic tool instead. This one directly interfaces with kicads internal data. Meaning less chance for forgetting to save stuff.

are you sure your schematic and pcb are in sync? What does the “update pcb from schematic” dialog report? (The full output of it.)
Did you save the schematic before trying to update the pcb?

Hello!

No, I’m not sure at all. How can I be sure? What I just did is what you said, use the tool menu
-> update PCB from schematic. Same result, the resistors have still 2 different shapes.

Thanks!

Pascal

What is the output of the netlist importer or the update from schematic tool?
Did you save the schematic?
