Round tracks plugin - anyone experiencing clearance issues?

Just seen some post on the “Round tracks” plugin available from the official repository.
Indeed it makes a nice looking board, but the DRC shows many clearance issues in previously issue-free design.
Is my project special, or is the plugin not yet mature enough? My design is nothing fancy, some 2-layer 6-mil clearance stuff…

Here’s some “Before-After” visual…
The ZD5 track have some unwanted segment preventing the track from being smoothed, but anyway.

I also did some brief experiments with it and I had the same experience. It works for most tracks, but some are left with DRC violations.
