Recently upgraded to 5.1.7 (and enjoying the upgrade!). However, I have noticed a slightly strange behaviour on the Right Hand Toolbar in both the Schematic Layout Editor and in the PCB Layout editor (and may well happen in the other apps too):
(look at the extra “copy” pixels to left of the toolbar icons) This happens when I’m resizing the window to make it bigger: I first noticed it when the window was 95% plus of window size, and I went full screen, but I also notice that it happens when I’m just increasing the window size.
I see this on windows 5.1.8. It’s sporadic, sometimes ghost pixels get cleared and sometimes not.
It’s a toolbar rendering bug, should be reported on kicad gitlab.
Yeah, I just looked at gitlab, looks like quite a task to raise a bug (and yes, I appreciate why they need such a strict format…), so I’ll (a) just put up with it for now; (b) encourage someone more used to raising bugs on gitlab to do it
