Are the symbols for residual current devices available in the Kicad library or do I have to create them myself?

Doesn’t seem to exist. They don’t have a standard representation, they are just devices which can be drawn as rectangles with pins, and optionally with added graphics at any level of details.
If you are drawing electrical power diagrams, Qelectrotech is a better choice
