Repeated (possibly graphics) errors with Kicad 5

Just installed KiCad 5 and I keep getting the following error. Once in a while, no matter what I select here, the program crashes. KiCad is running on a Windows 10, 1803 build, 8G DDR4 RAM, Intel HD 620 integrated graphics, When I ran the program for the first time, it asked me if I wanted to use Accelerated graphics and I clicked Yes. Is this because of that? If yes, how do I disable this?

Also version 4.0.7 had an option to choose the graphics driver (OpenGL etc.) in pcbnew. Is that still available in this version?

Earlier builds / installers had this issue, but it’s gone now. Did you download a fresh installer from the downloads page before installation ?

Yes I downloaded a fresh installer. It did overwrite an existing 4.0.7 installation.

You need to download the installer again, i.e. today.

Its the same version though - 5.0.0. I had downloaded this the day it was released but ended up installing only today.

Nope, a new installer was created with the same version.

I’m not telling you to do stuff just for the hell of it, I’m telling you how you can solve your problem.

I just knew them not adding some sort of build revision would just invite more questions like this one.
