Renumbering pages seems buggy

I am trying to renumber pages because I made a screwup. However I can’t. When I right click on page and hit renumber, the new number gets assigned to the page which which has the blue dot. I don’t know how to set the blue dot before an other page.

I am trying to renumber Hbridge2 but eeSchema does not allow me. Is this a bug or do I simply not know how this is supposed to work.

Regards,

Bas

Hi @bask185

What Kicad version are you using?

Changing sheet numbers works for me with 7.0.10; blue dot or not.
It seems there were some bug fixes for hierarchical sheets in 7.0.10. Maybe (just a guess) that is your problem?

I’ll go update. Kicad 8 out yet?

February-ish

Let us know if the update fixes your problem

The update seems to have resolved the issue… for now :+1:t2:

I ofcourse don’t know what caused the issue, though. I hope it is not one of those sporadic bugs which happens only… sometimes and are hard to reproduce  Those are always my favourites to solve
