Removing solder mask

Hi there,

I’m searching a way to remove solder mask over tracks that will need to stay with visible copper.

I found lots of threads and infos but I still can’t make it.

This video (Removing Soldermask and Copper Fill (Part 2/2) - YouTube) should help but I don’t get how he does the trick (he quickly clicks somewhere to refresh or do something but it is unfortunately not clear for me as a beginner).

Can anyone please explain the correct way to create a zone on a PCB where solder mask will not be applied?

Hum… just found was I was missing: I need to use the “Add a filled zone” tool just after selecting the “mask” layer.

Everything is okay now.
