Remove thermals from pads

Hello guys,

I’m currently on a pcb for a current sensing application. There will be quite a “high” → Max 22A.
Now, i’m not sure how to explain this but the picture should make it more clear. As you can see the connection directly at pins is very narrow. Can I somehow make this as a close polygon plane? Or how would you go about this?
Thanks in advance

You need to edit the Pad Properties of those 4 pads:

It’s under the Connection tab > Connection to Copper Zones > Pad Connection

Or change the setting for the zones . . . you could use no thermal relief, or just thermal relief for through hole components.

I suppose that I have to change it to “Solid”? However it doesn’t changed anything…

Yes, solid. And you have to recalculate the zone fillings after changing the pad/zone parameters.

main menu bar–>Edit–>Fill all zones.

Doing that also doesn’t change anything. Is there some kind of “refresh” I have to perform in order for it to work?

Thank you, that is what was missing !
