Is there way to avoid copper fill under components without changing the settings under zone properties ‘clearance’. I have kept it to 0.
Either use zone cutout, or use Keepout area.
For 5.99 (pre-6.0), footprint editor allows to add Keepout to the footprint itself.

i can see two builds unter ‘Testing Builds’

how are they different from each other ?
The “lite” does not have libraries included, so it’s suitable to upgrade existing 5.1.x installation. However these testing vesions do not have this feature, which was introduced in 5.99 (aka Nightly development build)
