Good evening
Our lab students are using same libraries for symbol, footprints and 3d model so we work on the same projects as we share same libraries there is no problem in symbol and footprints, we also share the same 3d library folder. i have added 3d model in the layout in my computer. but when one of my friend working on same project who also shares same libraries. why can he see the 3d models i have updated.
can anyone suggest a solution for this.
If you have added the 3D model from your personal C: drive your students cannot access that when they use the footprint so the model will be missing.
Put the 3D CAD in a shared location, then add it to the footprint from there . . .
Hey
Actually we are sharing the same library through One drive. and the main point is i was the one who was assigning the 3D models.
I was unable to see them cause, you can see the virtual models option that was unchecked. NPTH mechanical holes footprints 3D models are being considered under virtual models.
I checked that option now i am able to see them.
