Python and PCB Editor Issue: pcbnew Module Not Found

Hello KiCad community,

I’m currently experiencing an issue with Python and the PCB editor in KiCad version 8.0 on Linux Mint 21.3. When I attempt to open the scripting console, I receive an error stating that the pcbnew module cannot be found.

In addition, I’m not sure if this is related, but I’ve also noticed that the Footprint Wizard is unable to find any generators.

I’ve tried a few basic troubleshooting steps, such as restarting KiCad and updating the Python modules, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
