Is there a way to have the folder structure of a Kicad 8.0 project altered? I would like to have the schematic files inside a separate subfolder in the project folder (see attached file), but I have not found a way to either directly create the schematic file in a dedicated subfolder, or to move it in that subfolder after creation in the root project folder.
Not that I know of. If the related files (ones with the same basename) are not in the same folder then linkages don’t work.
If you use hierarchical sheets you can put the subsheets in another place, but the main file must still be in the project main level. You can point to any file locations from the main sheet.
