Problem when ploting schematics to PDF

Hello everyone, this is my first post, although I have been reading this forum for a while. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for the valuable information shared here.

I’m encountering an issue with version 9.0.1. When I plot a schematic to PDF, the sheets are no longer in the correct order. It appears they are following a hierarchical order instead of the page numbers. This behavior was not present in version 9.0.0.

I have searched this forum and the GitLab issues and have not found anything related to this. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Hi,
I have the same issue. I designed a hierarchical schematic, with some sheets being used several times in my design (multi-channel). I manually changed the pages order to make it more consistent, but when I plot the schematic, the pages are in the wrong order.

Edit : I’m using KiCAD 9.0.2

Using 9.0.1, I did not see the issue. I reorder pages using this toolbox:

But it behaves as expected.

Hi,
I encounter this problem with versions 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 on both Windows and Linux. Version 9.0 behaves as expected. There is an open issue reported on GitLab: Schematic plot PDF results in pages out of order after page numbers were changed in schematic editor (#20701) · Issues · KiCad / KiCad Source Code / kicad · GitLab

I tried the design from the issue. And indeed the sheets are in the wrong order.
