Having a schematic converted into pdf with searchability is very useful. If the conversion makes is an image or similar format, one cannot search for example to locate a particular component ( e.g. “R35”). A lot of pdf we find are old-style. Nothing can be searched in such documents.
I my installation, I get pdf that cannot be searched.
Is it installation dependent or is it the pdf conversion process in KiCAD?
If this latter, any plan to make a pdf schematic searchable?

Use the “Plot” function to create a PDF. Printing to PDF does not include embedded text.
